1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Beed mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

If you create an account, your use of the App and creation of an account constitutes your acceptance of these Terms. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including parents, guardians, professionals, and any other users.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review both documents carefully.

2. Eligibility and Adult-Only Use

The App is designed for use by parents, guardians, and professionals (including special education teachers, experts, and qualified practitioners). The App is not intended for direct use by children. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you may use the App only with parental or guardian supervision and consent.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements and that you will use the App in accordance with these Terms.

3. Service Description

Beed is an education management platform designed to provide supportive tools and resources for individuals with special education needs and their families. The App includes features such as:

  • Development area tracking and goal setting
  • Education plan creation and management
  • Performance tracking and visualization
  • Community features for sharing experiences and connecting with other users
  • Expert profiles and consultation features
  • Messaging and communication tools

The App provides supportive tools and information but does not replace professional diagnosis, therapy, educational counseling, or medical advice.

4. Accounts and Security

To use certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials (username, password, etc.)
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

5. User-Generated Content and Community Rules

The App allows you to create, post, share, and transmit content, including posts, comments, messages, and other materials ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content.

5.1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to post, upload, or transmit User Content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy
  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains false, misleading, or deceptive information
  • Contains personal information of others without their consent
  • Contains spam, unsolicited promotional content, or advertising
  • Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity

5.2. Moderation and Reporting

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, review, edit, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion. We may remove or suspend access to User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

If you encounter User Content that violates these Terms, please report it to us at info@beed-app.com. We will review reported content and take appropriate action.

6. Expert Profiles

The App may include expert profiles and features that allow professionals to provide information about their qualifications, experience, and services. By creating an expert profile, you represent and warrant that:

  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful
  • You have the qualifications and credentials you claim to have
  • You are authorized to provide the services or information you offer

No Professional-Client Relationship: The App does not create a professional-client relationship between users and experts solely by virtue of using the App. Any professional relationship must be established separately and explicitly outside of the App.

We do not verify the credentials, qualifications, or professional standing of expert users unless explicitly stated. Users are responsible for verifying the credentials of experts before engaging with them.

7. AI-Supported Content Terms

The Beed app contains some content that was created with artificial intelligence (AI) support. Specifically, "teaching stages" or "instructional stages" content was developed with AI assistance. This content is pre-created and static (not generated in real-time during app use).

7.1. Current AI Content Status

  • Pre-Created Content: The App currently contains pre-created, AI-supported content. This content is static and not generated during user interaction.
  • No Active Generation: The App does not currently generate new AI content in real-time during user interaction. User-provided information is not sent to AI services for active content generation.

7.2. AI Content Limitations

Important:
  • AI-supported content may contain incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information. Content accuracy is not guaranteed.
  • AI-supported content does not constitute educational, medical, or professional advice. This content is for guidance and support purposes only.
  • AI-supported content should not be the sole basis for important decisions.
  • You are responsible for verifying AI-supported content with qualified professionals before making important decisions.

7.3. Future AI Features

Future versions of the App may introduce active AI content generation features that create content in real-time based on user input. If such features are introduced:

  • Users will be informed about the new AI features and their implications
  • These Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect the new functionality
  • Consent will be requested when required, and users will be informed during onboarding or feature activation
  • For information about data transfer related to future AI features, see the Privacy Policy, Section 7.5

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. App and Software Ownership

The Beed app, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other content (excluding User Content), is owned by the developer and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App for your personal or professional use in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

8.2. User Content License

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by posting, uploading, or transmitting User Content through the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Host, store, and display your User Content on the App
  • Use, reproduce, and distribute your User Content as necessary to provide and operate the App
  • Moderate, edit, or remove your User Content as described in these Terms

This license continues even after you stop using the App, to the extent necessary for us to maintain the App and comply with legal obligations.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access, scrape, or collect data from the App without our prior written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App, servers, or networks connected to the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, accounts, computer systems, or networks
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Use the App to spam, harass, or harm other users
  • Violate any applicable export control laws or regulations

10. Termination and Suspension

10.1. Termination by You

You may delete your account and stop using the App at any time. You can delete your account from within the App's settings. For information about account deletion and data retention, see the Privacy Policy.

10.2. Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if you:

  • Violate these Terms or any applicable laws
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Post User Content that violates these Terms
  • Fail to pay any fees (if applicable) when due
  • Engage in any activity that we believe may harm the App or other users

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. We may delete your account and User Content, subject to our data retention policies as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Any defects or errors will be corrected
  • The App will meet your requirements or expectations
  • The App is free of viruses or other harmful components

The App does not replace professional diagnosis, therapy, educational counseling, or medical advice. Educational content is provided for informational and supportive purposes only.

AI Content Disclaimer: AI-supported content may be inaccurate and is not professional advice. See Section 7 and the Privacy Policy, Section 3 for details.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the App
  • Any conduct or content of third parties on the App
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the App
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF OR ANY INABILITY TO USE THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE ACTION GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of or access to the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
  • Any User Content you post, upload, or transmit through the App
  • Any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Adana Courts and Enforcement Offices.

Where applicable, the Çukurova District of Adana shall be deemed the competent venue.

15. Zoom Integration Terms

The Beed app integrates with Zoom to enable online meetings and consultations. This section describes additional terms that apply specifically to your use of the Zoom integration. These terms supplement the rest of these Terms of Service and should be read together with Zoom’s own terms and policies.

When you connect your Zoom account to Beed, you authorize Beed to act on your behalf within the limits of the permissions (OAuth scopes) granted through the Zoom App Marketplace. These currently include:

  • meeting:write:meeting – to create and manage Zoom meetings on your behalf
  • meeting:read:meeting – to read basic information about meetings created via Beed
  • user:read:user – to read basic account information such as your Zoom user ID and email

15.1. Use of Zoom and your responsibilities

You remain fully responsible for your Zoom account and for complying with all applicable Zoom terms, including the Zoom Terms of Service. In particular, you agree to:

  • Maintain an active Zoom account in good standing
  • Use the Zoom integration only for lawful and legitimate purposes
  • Ensure that you have the right to invite participants to meetings you schedule through Beed
  • Not misuse meeting links or the integration to harass, harm, or deceive others

You are solely responsible for the content and conduct of your Zoom meetings, including what you and your participants say, show, or share during those meetings.

15.2. Third-party nature of Zoom and limited responsibility

Zoom Video Communications, Inc. is an independent third-party service provider. Beed does not control Zoom and is not responsible for:

  • Any downtime, outages, or technical failures of Zoom
  • Any changes Zoom makes to its services, APIs, or pricing
  • Zoom’s own handling of your data, which is governed by Zoom’s privacy policy and terms

Where applicable, online meetings may be conducted using third-party video conferencing services such as Zoom, subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or performance of third-party services such as Zoom.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beed is not liable for any losses or damages arising from issues that are attributable to Zoom or your separate relationship with Zoom. The limitations of liability in Section 12 also apply to your use of the Zoom integration.

15.3. No payments through Zoom

Beed does not process payments through Zoom. Any fees, subscriptions, or charges related to Beed are handled outside of Zoom (for example, via app stores or other payment providers). Zoom is not used as a payment processor for Beed, and no purchase is made “in Zoom” on behalf of Beed.

15.4. Suspension or termination of Zoom access

We may suspend or disable your ability to use the Zoom integration (without necessarily closing your entire Beed account) if:

  • You violate these Terms or misuse the Zoom integration
  • We detect security issues, fraud, or abuse related to your Zoom usage through Beed
  • Zoom suspends or restricts your account or access to its APIs
  • We discontinue or significantly change the Zoom integration as a feature

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Providing notice through the App or via email (if you have provided an email address)

Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

19. Acknowledgment

By using the Beed app, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms of Service, understand them, and agree to be bound by them. You also acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
